Hymns Singing and Appreciation (*New Course*)

Content: In a relaxed afternoon hour, we will appreciate selected hymns by singing them and understanding their compositional background and related scriptures.

Fundamental Organ Improvisations

Instructor: Mr Jonathan Yip (Cathedral Organist, St John’s Cathedral)
Content: Improvisation is an essential skill for church organists. This course equips students with fundamental skills of improvisation that enriches the services through music.

Fundamental Choral Conducting

Content: This course introduces students to basic conducting technique such as beat patterns, gestures for showing different articulations and dynamics. It also covers the fundamentals of preparing a choir rehearsal.
